Starting to see why the left are so butt-hurt about Trump :D

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/may/6/giving-trumps-accomplishments-their-due/

• Appointed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and more than 75 other constitutionally sound federal judges, 30 of which are serving.

• Reinstated an expanded Mexico City Policy blocking foreign aid from being used for abortions.
• Cracked down on illegal immigration and “sanctuary cities.” As Attorney General Jeff Sessions put it: “The lawlessness, the abdication of the duty to enforce our laws, and the catch and release policies of the past are over.”

• Issued an order killing two federal regulations for every new one. In actuality, 16 were cut for every new one in his first year, saving billions.

• Engineered a historic tax cut that will save money for more than 80 percent of American households.

• Withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, ending the threat of U.S. governance by international bureaucrats.

• Reversed onerous Obama environmental rules that gave the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ham-handed authority to destroy the coal industry and abrogate landowners’ rights.

• Kick-started America’s energy sector by curtailing regulations, facilitating the Keystone XL Pipeline and opening up vast federal areas to oil and gas exploration.

• Presided over an economic and stock market boom, lowered unemployment and brought manufacturing jobs back to America from overseas.

• Rebuilt the nation’s military, destroyed ISIS and faced down North Korea’s “Rocket Man.”

• Issued an order enforcing First Amendment protections for religious liberty.

• Restored the freedom of military chaplains to espouse biblical morality, and essentially reversing Mr. Obama’s transgender military policy.
• Revoked the Education Department’s order that public schools allow gender-confused males access to girls’ restrooms and locker rooms.

• Cracked down on sex trafficking. President Trump signed a law allowing states to move against sex-ad Internet sites, and the Justice Department on April 6 seized and shut down Backpage.com, which carried ads for prostitution, including trafficked children.

• Overhauled the mismanaged Veterans Administration and giving veterans more health care choices.

• Replaced Obamacare incrementally, beginning with a repeal of the individual mandate.

• Imposed sanctions on Venezuela’s socialist dictatorship and revising Mr. Obama’s deals with communist Cuba.

• Recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and repairing damage that Mr. Obama did to the U.S.-Israel relationship.

• Worked with Central American nations to crack down on MS-13 gangs.

OK, let’s stop here, though it only scratches the surface.[\quote]

Meh. Anyone on twitter has such a short attention span they'll probably forget why they destroyed their stuff and go and buy new nike stuff next week.

The Nike store is right next to the Keurig store. :p

I agree with you on that one. Even though ISIS is, well done. That was thanks to Russia.

My point though is that everything he's doing is against what the leftists stand for. He's purposely farking them over (the left)

You could have a point.
"The leftists" - although I'm not sure what such tribal labels accomplishes and I'm taking that to mean anyone who opposes Trump - do tend to stand for non-corrupt, non-racist, non-sexist, non-egomaniacal, helpful-to-more-than-just-one's-own-family type governance.

It's like your classic catch-22 situation. ... This puts us in such a tough spot. If Sessions won’t unrecuse and Mueller won’t clear the president, we’re the only ones, which is really the danger,” Nunes (R-Calif.) said, according to the tape. “I mean, we have to keep all these seats. We have to keep the majority. If we do not keep the majority, all of this goes away.

I just ask you to go out and make sure all of your people vote," Trump said, according to the Times. "Because if they don't — it's Nov. 6 — if they don't vote we're going to have a miserable two years and we're going to have, frankly, a very hard period of time because then it just gets to be one election — you're one election away from losing everything you've got.

I doubt I will get much in a away of a coherent response to this, but here goes -

Appointed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and more than 75 other constitutionally sound federal judges, 30 of which are serving. - OK and? He is required to appoint these judges. Pity he hasn't appointed critical state department positions like ambassadors.

• Reinstated an expanded Mexico City Policy blocking foreign aid from being used for abortions. - Letting women get dangerous back street abortions to own the libs.
• Cracked down on illegal immigration and “sanctuary cities.” As Attorney General Jeff Sessions put it: “The lawlessness, the abdication of the duty to enforce our laws, and the catch and release policies of the past are over.” Cool, while separating children from families and creating future hatred of America and feeding the anti-American propaganda of terrorists. Good idea.

• Issued an order killing two federal regulations for every new one. In actuality, 16 were cut for every new one in his first year, saving billions.Still a long way to go to match Carter or Reagan and it is historically very difficult to prove how much money is actually saved. Especially since repealing recent Obama era regulations that had not taken effect yet, would obviously not have incurred any costs or including savings for legislation that only takes effect in 2020. It also ignore the cost-benefit relationship of some regulation. A study of regulations from 2005 to 2015 showed that the benefits of the legislation outweighed the administration costs. Just to note that the US Governments own Office of Management and Budget have shown a saving of only $22Million from the deregulation carried out by Trump. Far less than the Billions claimed.

• Engineered a historic tax cut that will save money for more than 80 percent of American households. Is that the tax cut that benefits the top 1%? - https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...ax-bill-congress-conference-tax-policy-center

• Withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, ending the threat of U.S. governance by international bureaucrats. What threat? This is what the Climate Agreement actually is about - Under the Paris Agreement, each country shall determine, plan, and regularly report on the contribution that it undertakes to make in order to mitigate global warming. There is no mechanism to force a country to set a specific target by a specific date.

• Reversed onerous Obama environmental rules that gave the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ham-handed authority to destroy the coal industry and abrogate landowners’ rights. Coal industry destroyed itself as market forces and declining global demand for coal has caused the decline of the industry. Arby's Restaurants employs more people than the coal industry.

• Kick-started America’s energy sector by curtailing regulations, facilitating the Keystone XL Pipeline and opening up vast federal areas to oil and gas exploration. Nope. Obama kick started the energy sector - https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapie...of energy production in U.S. history.[/quote]

• Presided over an economic and stock market boom, lowered unemployment and brought manufacturing jobs back to America from overseas. Spinning of facts - Manufacturing jobs have increased. In real terms, compared to pre-2008 recession manufacturing is still well below. You do realise manufacturing jobs have been increasing since 2009, under Obama as well! Oh Lordy what will we do! https://www.factcheck.org/2018/01/manufacturing-jobs-roaring-back/

• Rebuilt the nation’s military - How? What has he re-built?, destroyed ISIS and faced down North Korea’s “Rocket Man.”[North Korea? - This North Korea? - https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-north-korea-stalemate-threatens-nuclear-disarmament-deal-1535976004 Trump has offered nothing more and changed nothing different to what has been done before

• Issued an order enforcing First Amendment protections for religious liberty. Fail to see how this enrages liberal minded people?

• Restored the freedom of military chaplains to espouse biblical morality, and essentially reversing Mr. Obama’s transgender military policy. This is currently under judicial review
• Revoked the Education Department’s order that public schools allow gender-confused males access to girls’ restrooms and locker rooms. Naturally this angered many people. What has this order done? What has it improved? What value did it bring, other than some epic virtue signalling?

• Cracked down on sex trafficking. President Trump signed a law allowing states to move against sex-ad Internet sites, and the Justice Department on April 6 seized and shut down Backpage.com, which carried ads for prostitution, including trafficked children. Yet again, so did Obama - Through executive orders and the establishment of a task force many people were convicted for human trafficking. So yeah what is the issue here?

• Overhauled the mismanaged Veterans Administration and giving veterans more health care choices. So did Obama. He has increased funding for the VA over his presidency as well.

• Replaced Obamacare incrementally, beginning with a repeal of the individual mandate. Obamacare is still in place and is not dead.

• Imposed sanctions on Venezuela’s socialist dictatorship and revising Mr. Obama’s deals with communist Cuba. Obama started the process of sanctioning Venezuela, so not sure what is the issue here?"

• Recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and repairing damage that Mr. Obama did to the U.S.-Israel relationship.History will see how this decision unfolds. It pretty much demonstrated that his super negotiator, Jared Kushner, failed miserably and epically at negotiating peace in the middle east

• Worked with Central American nations to crack down on MS-13 gangs. So did Obama, so not sure what you imply here?{/b]

You were right, you won't get a coherent response...

I didn't type that, I read it and quoted it as it seems to be addressing specifically liberal points of interest. (Which you clearly just confirmed with your responses actually)

Then again, you're more than welcome to debate the points with the article writer who is clearly identified at the bottom of the piece.

If you actually read much of it you would see most of the aspects raised here are bi-partisan and were implemented under Obama with support from all circles.

The only "specific" points of liberal interest being transgender and climate related issues.

So they are not specific points of liberal interest.
