You are right. And I am sorry as you have never labelled me. So I apologise.

I do not however agree that extreme anything is good. I do think we should all have an ideal but meet halfway to come to a mutually acceptable compromise. With Ford and Kavanaugh, there is no compromise because of the delay the Democrats engineered. If they had come forward with enough time for the GOP to reconsider Kavanugh and put another candidate through a fair process, I am sure we wouldn't all wouldn't be having such heated debates.

Well look at that, your first attempt at balance resulted in one-sidedly blaming the Democrats for the delay. You're going to have to try harder at this centrism thing.

It must have been the alt-right and the Russians who were responsible for Feinstein holding onto that letter since 30 June.

Maybe it's the alt-right and the Russians who insist on Kavanaugh's confirmation the day after the kangaroo court hearing yesterday? Oops wasn't balanced there for a second. OOOOMMMMM

Wait what? I thought you guys though the hearings went well. Please clarify the kangaroo court reference.

It's simply baffling that you continue to regurgitate this nonsense. There is no deadline. They can delay his confirmation, or they can simply nominate whoever the hell else, whenever they want.

Trump literally has a list of pre-approved drone judges that the Federal Society gave to him. He made it publicly available. He can pick any one of them and they'll get approved easily (like Gorsuch was), and they'll rubber stamp whatever the GOP wants them to.

I notice you ignored when I responded to your earlier post about this - Feinstein got the letter at the end of July, not in June. And you know full well if she just brought it up without vetting it, you'd have screeched just as loudly that they were doing it for political reasons. No way she could have done it would have pleased you.

But if delays bother you, wait till you hear about this guy called Merrick Garland.

I'm open, man, whatever you think. Immigration, or as you so centristly put it, rapefugation.
Easy, a couple of points to keep in mind though:
- government first and foremost represents it's own
- government has zero role in enforcing any sort of moral values
- property rights (of any kind) are sacrosanct
- government should in fact have no funding whatsoever other than that which is needed to keep it's own people safe and protect property rights

Given those parameters a truly libertarian (and yes I'm supplanting the word in place of centrist here) government wouldn't have that many options when it comes to immigration, borders must be completely open, BUT not a single immigrant may be allowed to threaten safety or property.

Every single immigrant is also to fend for themselves to survive, not once cent in assistance from tax revenue, if people feel charitable enough to help provide for them (i.e. people are willing to sacrifice some of their own personal property) then great. If an immigrant commits any crime against the people, they're out, forever.

I will say this. Because of Trump and who he is, I believe American politics are becoming so divisive that both sides are finding it almost impossible to work together.

Oh definitely. Remember how amazingly well the Republicans tried to work with Obama. Never ever tried to undermine him, or put party before country or any nonsense like that. Mitch McConnell should be given a medal for most cooperative turtle to ever have lived.

So you believe the way forward is back?
Or that extreme right movement is required to counter the big shift to the left?
The way forward is back, sort of, I believe the way forward will only emerge once it has all truly come crashing down. I don't see Trump as "right" or "left" at all, just a wrecking ball.

NBFTW -> The removal of all social spending and reliance on charity is a very, very right thing to do.

Right in the sense that it is "correct". Not right as opposed to left. The right would have you not allow any undesirables / challenges to their norms in at all. The left would open the flood gates AND pay for them.

Having the floodgates open and NOT paying for them is therefor balanced.

Ok, so you are advocating an extreme right position in hopes that the outcome lands in the middle?

If you believe in the core fundamental that society should help those in need through charity, and not through social programs, you are on the right.
