2016 production: 9.7
2016 Consumption: 10.8
Exports: 4.6

How does this:
prove it wrong in any way whatsoever?
Well apparently Canada destroys half of the steel it gets its hands on if we're to believe your numbers.

As I said, it doesn't make sense to you....because you don'ts seem to understand words and stuff. Don't put that on me.

Explain to me again how your import figures (mostly from the US, no less) somehow prove export and consumption figures incorrect? That magicks one of my whole favourite parts of this discussion.

As is this:

Lol

Anyway, I'm really out this time . Has been fun

Canada 2016 : 12.7m tons

And then it imports another 7m tons.

Makes for a total of 20m tons of steel. So in actuality, Canada produced 13m tons of steel and consumed 20m tons, and nobody knows where you got your numbers from.

It does matter, stupid. What they export, they don't consume.
Like I said, pick any export number you like. Subtract it from the 20m consumed. You won't get to 9.7m ton production and 10.8m ton consumption like you claimed.

Oh and btw:

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/969572374977839106

Trump said:
When a country Taxes our products coming in at, say, 50%, and we Tax the same product coming into our country at ZERO, not fair or smart. We will soon be starting RECIPROCAL TAXES so that we will charge the same thing as they charge us. $800 Billion Trade Deficit-have no choice!
Reciprocal implies that the response will be country specific.

And I said they produce 10% less than they consume .

What do they consume? According to you, 20m?!! What about the exports? Let me simplify it for you, to help you figure out how to calculate this:

Wendy makes 10 cupcakes
She buys an additional 7 cupcakes
She sells 6 cupcakes. And eats the rest.

According to you, she ate 17 cupcakes. You forgot to factor in the 6 that she sold

Do you understand the principle? It's not that hard

So now you're ignoring where the stats show you were wrong and clinging to the one spot where you could hypothetically be right even though you have no stats to actually back it up, and your hypothetically being right does nothing to aid you with respect to calling any other argument BS.

Sorry, you said Canada consumed 20m? Is that correct?

Hypothetically. ;)

Edit: Cute edit:

It doesn't matter that I was too lazy to account for exports specifically when I already showed your other two numbers to be wrong. Pick any export number you like, you will not get the actual production and consumption numbers to line up with 9.7m and 10.8m respectively.

80% of their exports are to the US.
They produce 10% less than they consume. They export half of what they produce.

First paragraph. Produce 13m tons, import 7m tons.

Can you calculate the consumption? And compare it to the imports

Wendy got very upset with you for calling her a pig. And thinks you need to go back to school.

She'd be right there.

You're scared of the result aren't you? It's ok.
Oh yes, I'm so very very scared of your imaginary numbers. Shivering in my boots.
