Great job, guys.

New Hedge-Fund Tax Dodge Triggers Wild Rush Back Into Delaware

Wall Street’s fast-money crowd is returning to well-trodden ground to elude Trump-era tax laws: Delaware.

Since late 2017, hedge fund managers have created numerous shell companies in the First State, corporate America’s favorite tax jurisdiction. These limited liability companies share a common goal: dodging new tax rules for carried-interest profits through a bit of deft legal paperwork.

Big names appear to be embracing the maneuver, which requires setting up LLCs for managers entitled to share carried-interest payouts. Four LLCs have been created under the name of Elliott Management Corp., the hedge-fund giant run by Paul Singer. More than 70 have been established under the names of executives at Starwood Capital Group Management, the private-equity shop headed by Barry Sternlicht.

Cohen's statement is also very specific in saying the Trump Org/campaign didn't reimburse him. Didn't say Trump himself didn't...

Also, lol at his genius, because Daniels' lawyer is saying he invalidated her NDA...

And then of course there's the whole question of why Trump's lawyer paid $130k to a porn star who was known to be a companion of Trump's in the first place.

Maybe his lawyer wanted to grab her by the pu$$y and didn't have the stardom of Trump to make it happen ... so he paid for his own ride.

Or hell maybe Trump paid for it, wouldn't surprise anyone. What's funny though is how keen the press is to believe the word of a prossie who's clearly willing to do anything to make a buck ... why wouldn't she lie to coin it big as well?

Oh, it's worse than that...

The Daniels payment was the subject of a previous campaign-finance mini-controversy in January when, soon after the first report about the $130,000 agreement appeared in the Wall Street Journal, a partisan (Democratic) legal group called Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) noted that the Trump campaign reported making a payment of $130,888.33 in December 2016. This, the implication went, could have been part of a scheme to surreptitiously funnel campaign cash to Daniels. Other observers quickly noted, though, that the payment was listed on an FEC report as rent paid to a Trump Organization entity called Trump Tower Commercial LLC and therefore could have been a perfectly legal reimbursement for the use of office space, one that only coincidentally happened to be for the same amount paid to Daniels. Indeed, as the Washington Post documented, sizable payments marked “rent” were made to Trump Tower Commercial LLC in the months before and after December 2016, though no other “rent” payments were for $130,000 specifically.

There’s one catch, though: While rent is typically paid monthly, the Trump campaign, according to its FEC reports, made 14 rent payments in 2016.

Trump’s Lawyer Says the Trump Campaign Didn’t Reimburse Him for His $130,000 Payment to Stormy Daniels. But …

Denigrating someone because of their profession once again shows how much of a terrible human being you are. And considering the numbers of lies Trump has told and continues to tell, I'd believe her over him any day.

And can someone please explain why Trump was cavorting with 'prossies'?

:D buy a dictionary, someone who has sex in exchange for monetary compensation is a prostitute.

Take your virtue signalling back to your safe space.

So calling you out on using her profession as a way to discredit her character and thus her claim, is "virtue signalling".

Alternative facts, anyone?

Does anyone actually care about Trump's screwing around?

I'd call it white knighting.

Actually, a prostitute who blackmails her clients is a pretty low creature.

What's funny though is how keen the press is to believe the word of a prossie who's clearly willing to do anything to make a buck ...

As opposed to real estate tycoon who's willing to do anything to make a buck?

No, virtue signalling to come to the defense of a literal prostitute is virtue signalling.

Not according to the polls. He wasn't elected under the illusion that he was a paragon of family virtue.
