I think he's still really holding out for a pardon and I know his legal team talks to 45's crew... but... there has been reporting for a couple of days now about Paulie negotiating a plea deal.
This could be an, "I'm out of options, pony up" message to Trump just as much as it could be his people telling him Trump's throwing him under the bus.

I don't see Mueller taking a deal unless it's really worth it. He already has Gates and Cohen's trying to throw his hat in the ring too.

Cautiously optimistic. Want to know the details of a plea before I crack the cap on a 12 year old Whiskey.

The other guy got 14 days. This guy is gonna get more, but he's got lawyers and schit. Nowhere close to what he deserves

Jr might go down, they won’t get Don, he’s always made sure of being at arms length and not being scared to throw anyone else under the bus.

I read something about him trying to get a plea deal that doesn't involve cooperation. I would be surprised if they go for it, but that's his angle.

Well, there will be enough on obstruction for articles of impeachment. He's done most of it in the light of day; but this depends on a Dem House and Senate after November of course.
Frankly, it might be better for Dems to leave him in the WH as a lame duck 'till 2020... Powerless and rage tweeting, turning off every single voter other than the 25 to 30% of truly hardcore MAGA folk.

The SDNY is his real problem. They're looking at his foundation and businesses and what they're going to find is Russian mob money being laundered by the truck load for years now.
When the office of the presidency no longer gives him cover, he's going to be in a lot of trouble in NY.

Yeah, I've read that too. Either way we'll know later today. A court appearance has scheduled apparently.

There is something bizarre about the truly wealthy whining regarding how much tax they pay.

Of course they could spend better, but that would derail the gravy train.

Even when there is room for tax cuts they should go to the lowest income brackets first and overwhelmingly. Better for the people and better for the economy.

You mean because of the way he runs a clemency court that is capriciously allowed to decide whether ex-felons should vote based on nothing more than how they feel?
