Oh, I'm sorry. Have any of our interactions in this thread given you the impression I'm *not* a liberal who sides with Democrats ever-damn-time?
Also, in a Venn diagram of our respective echo chambers, the discussions in this thread are the only place they overlap.
You cannot provide anything insightful, but only these little quips that show your shallow understanding of events. He got emotional when he was talking about his father. He is impacted by the effect of all of this on his family. Every single time he spoke of those around him and the ones he cares about, he got emotional. He cares for these people and how their lives have been impacted by the media circus and everything else that comes with it. It does not talk to his innocence, but the 36 (I stand to be corrected) women that have come out in support of him does. Ford's own best friend discredited her, and Ford told the Senate her best friend has "health"issues and that she is happy that her friend is seeking help. A woman is lashing out at her closest friend from high school on the national stage and no one says a thing?

Her emotions were disingenuous? You want to elaborate a bit on that? How should a victim of sexual assault display their emotions when being questioned? Would it have been better or worse if she'd thrown petulant tantrums and sobbed like Kavanaugh?
This is more than a little baffling, you says she is credible but she couldn't possibly be that emotional when talking about a sexual assault?

For what it's worth, I don't believe either side because it's impossible to know the truth. I do know that there are multiple accusations, so there should be an investigation, but there's such a push back against that from the Republicans and Kav that it is coming off as shady.
Not to mention you Trumpites can cry all you want about the Dems, but I don't remember any of this happening with Gorsuch. If the Dems were gonna falsify anything it would have been with the seat that was stolen.
And Mr and Mrs Kavanaugh have had to deal with the same thing? Even their children have been insulted. They lucked out there too, "dontcha think"?

You're the one accusing her of being disingenuous. She answered every question frankly and openly, which is more than I can say for Kavanaugh. But she had the temerity to let her voice break when recounting events that traumatised her, and you call her disingenuous?
You want to talk about evidence when Ford has ZERO evidence but her word, and witness letters that discredit what she says?
Something clearly happened to her. And time for truth is lost now. Thank your beloved Dems for that.

“Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh, and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford,” Keyser’s lawyer told the Washington Post.
In instances where Kavanaugh said she “did not recall” the party, he was accurately representing her statements. But in other instances, where he said she “refuted” the story, he was not. And, as the Post also reported, Keyser said in a brief interview that she believed Ford’s account.
When Ford was questioned about Keyser’s statement that she didn’t remember the party, Ford responded that she was not surprised, as her friend, unlike her, was not assaulted at the party. “It was a very unremarkable party,” she said. “It was not one of their more notorious parties because nothing happened to them.”
One Democratic senator did finally challenge Kavanaugh on his interpretation of Keyser’s statement. Near the end of Kavanaugh’s questioning, the nominee again brought up the evidence from a “long-term friend.” Cory Booker interrupted him.
“Ms. Keyser said she doesn’t remember the night in question,” he said. “But she also said she believes Dr. Ford.”

That's absurd. Nobody is forcing the vote to happen today. Anybody with the slightest modicum of respect for due process - which includes the American Bar Association by the way - wants an investigation to take place before the confirmation.
Why didn't the Democrats ask for an investigation in July?
That is a character reference (for Ford, not against Kavanaugh), and does not talk to the facts of the assault.
