You can't give him credit for standing up for his principles while at the same time saying he does whatever Trump tells him to do. He either stood up for his own beliefs or he walked out at Trump's insistence (knowing full well that the costs incurred by him attending the event would be wasted). So either Trump is lying (very possible) or Pence is just a yes man...

The Supreme Court’s longstanding position has been that colleges and universities have a compelling interest in diversity and may consider race among many factors when assessing qualified students for admission. But if Brett Kavanaugh is appointed, that position could change and would probably signal a return to pre-Civil Rights era race-neutral admissions policies.

This is not what America needs. Race-conscious admissions policies remain vital for ensuring diverse student bodies that reflect our ever-changing society. If Kavanaugh can’t support this longstanding position, he should not be confirmed.

Stop trying to create an issue where there is none. He walked out as he agreed with it being against what he stands for, and Trump even asked him to. Trump himself actually says he's proud that he did. So it's not like he didn't have a choice. Again, you're game is pretty predictable :p

I have never really seen eye to eye with you on politics but have to agree that you seem to have descended into a stereotypical right wing troll these days.

It's just become extremely clear on what exactly you guys are doing. You in particular do it very well. You play ignorant or naïve, then bait the people into saying something you can argue semantics with. To want end I don't know. I'm addressing what you're posting, you then try and draw some kind of conclusion with my posts. I was well aware that you're going to do it and you did exactly that.

At no point does one post change anything about the next post. You want it to, but it doesn't. Now you stuck and trying to claim victim here and make me out to be a right-wing troll.

The problem you guys don't see is the following:

We're not blinded by Trump hate hysteria. This has become evidently clear yesterday in about 8 pages of Cerebus (the smart guy that he is) actually could not read or comprehend sentences purely because it didn't say what he wanted it to say. We can see things for what they are whether you agree with it or not. Your "game" is up now. I know exactly how you play this thread with your obtuse questions, baiting people into a debate and then try and get them to contradict themselves or argue about semantics.

It's extremely sad that educated people can't sit and debate something without having agendas. Someone actually pointed it out yesterday in this thread and I fully agreed. Both sides will fight dirty to try and get a point. Just starting to find it extremely idiotic that these type of discussions seem to reign in here as of late when we have millions of other more pressing issues in our own damn country. A Leftist/Liberal country I might add...

Go back and count how many times you refer to the other side as "libtard" in the last few pages
and then come back and cry that you motives are being unfairly questioned and that you want a reasoned debate at the same time calling the other side retards....

As to the Trump derangement syndrome that you think we are all suffering from, you are welcome to quote a post of mine where my clear hatred of him shines through...

Hurt my feelings no, but am not sure what I have to gain by debating someone who is so small minded and petty. Not that the phrase in itself is the issue, NBFTW uses it extensively but at least makes a vague attempt to engage honestly rather than making most his posts all about personal attacks on the other side.

To be fair, the media spreads so much misinformation, it's crazy. There have been so many instances where stuff is said here that is so wrong and misrepresented, it becomes this huge mountain to deal with and not really worth the time. Look at the rise of Fox News. There is a market for alternative news sources. Also, the US is not really completely Leftist. I actually think that a few extreme Leftists are actually driving more people to figures like Trump.

The USA is also not a nation united any longer. We are becoming more and more divided along ideological lines, and the extreme rhetoric (Antifa / media mob justice) just spoils everything. Identity politics is also feeding this behaviour, as it attempts to put us all in boxes, and the apply rules to those boxes.

Kavanaugh was a strong one for me because it feeds into the radicalization of feminism, erodes men's rights and all round does more harm than good.

Lol... You read this thread yesterday. I actually saw you reading it on your activity. But instead of coming in and helping Cerebus and correcting him where he was wrong you just viewed him getting rekt from the sideline and left him to keep on talking lies. I have no issue with you not wanting to debate me or even chat to me on political issues. It's nothing to me, but don't come in, try fish for an agenda and then argue semantics or trying to play off posts against each other. You obviously failed today, and will do so going forward.

The leftist / liberal part was referring to SA just fyi. Conservatives are growing by the day in the US. The Liberal days of the US is counted for a few decades of that I'm sure :)
