US protests/riots 2020

Although over here we’re discussing the graph where they’re separated. The right wing terrorism on the graph is not religious therefore emjay’s point stands.
It seems I'm not getting my point across correctly.

The graph is in response to me not acknowledging right-wing violence.

What we talk about and what we categorise are two different things.

If a bunch of Muslims did something tomorrow. There'd be a lot of right-wing people shitting on them and pointing the blame at left-wing people (because Dems seem to support Arab/Muslim more) even though by definition, religious attacks are right-wing. Does that make sense?

Me talking about religious attacks was not whether they're actually grouped in that graph, but how we would talk about them on this forum.

OK now...to the point.

I'm complaining about BLM destroying stuff. I call them left-wing because of the party that seemingly backs them.

Under these actual definitions, BLM would be considered right-wing attacks...even though it's the Democrats who seem to support them.

I'm making a differentiation between spoken definition and actual definition.

A better way to explain it would be, Democrat-liked groups and Republican-liked groups, I guess. I interchangeably use left and right to mean Democrat and Republican. I assumed that's what we were all doing when we said left and right...?

Basically a right-wing thing can sometimes be supported by Democrats and vice-versa.

Here you go. Rifle dude was part of armed civilians protecting businesses from looters/arsonists. It appears though that the guy shot in head has possibly died. Maybe also skateboard guy:

Yes, and now here's the alleged group we're talking about. Would you not consider this as one of their own? Thus the "ironic" meme.

Its 2020, defending yourself or your property from criminal thieves, arsonists and murderers is now 'literally hitler'
Apparently he wasn't defending his own property. He was with a group that was there to protect BLM and ALSO protect property from rioters (I assume to not sully BLM's name).
The issue is that people are now saying he is alt-right and a white supremacist when in fact he was one of their own.

It sounds like Syria over there.

Antifa marches in support of BLM but I have seen people on Twitter point out that the ''white Antifa boys'' cause problems as they start most of the looting/violence. Now we have armed anti-government libertarians - who are the polar opposite of Antifa on the political compass - marching with BLM. Then the armed anti-govt Libs starting shooting some of the very people they were marching with?

That country is a mess right now.

The guy with the gun is on the ground with the mob attacking him. He then opens fire. It's not what the BLM/Antifa mob wanted, but it's what they deserved.

They were also armed... and then on got disarmed... heres one still armed after being disarmed

Might be Minneapolis' turn to go off again.

Unrest Grows In Downtown Minneapolis After Police Say Murder Suspect Killed Himself On Nicollet Mall

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Hostile crowds have gathered in downtown Minneapolis after police say a man wanted in connection with a homicide Wednesday afternoon killed himself as officers approached him on Nicollet Mall.

An immediate curfew was instituted at about 9:30 p.m. by Mayor Jacob Frey, and about 90 minutes later Gov. Tim Walz declared a peacetime emergency and deployed the Minnesota National Guard.

This move comes about three months after Gov. Walz’s historic mobilization of more that 5,000 guards members to assist during the unrest that immediately followed the death of George Floyd in late May.

Graphic video. He clearly blows his own brains out. People immediately turn on the police.

What the fuuuuu....?!
Man, we are in the twilight zone!

I've been browsing Reddit, specifically a subreddit dedicated to Minneapolis.

People are actually making excuses for the looting and rioting.

''With what happened in nearby Wisconsin, it is understandable that people are on edge''

They even blamed the police for arriving in riot gear to confront a mob that had just been rioting. Police came out to physically show the protest leaders the video but they also came with the support of anti-riot police, so the mob then blamed the police for escalating when things got out of hand again.
