US students choose iPods over beer

Whatever happened to good old respectable student pastimes like excessive partying and drug use?

We combined the internet and drinking - just took our wine, whiskey and coffee to the computer lab.

Student Monitor surveyed a random sample of 1,200 US students polled in March with a margin of error of 2.3%

Quite a small sample with a fairly large margin of error.

Sure - if you say so

There's more to US beer than Bud and Miller. :)

And what's SA's claim to fame? Castle - gag - lets just say I also produce an amber liquid that I'd rather imbibe ;)

Computers were a rarity when I was at college there - but beer would have still held out. A college full of Irish-Americans - what would you expect. :D

Screw this thread, I miss my university days now :( No better feeling than ditching a few lectures to down a few beers
