Usage is frozen?

My bundle usage and remaining allocation has not changed for the last 2 days. And I've used a few 100MB in the last 2 days. These are the sms's I've gotten after enquiring about the remaining balance.

I've got a few more sms's...all the same. I'm not going to pay if I go over whilst not being able to check the balance if their's some error on Vodacoms side.

Log a query with customer care and be sure to get a reference number.
 
Will do. Just checked my balance via sms again. Same amount remaining and used.

I have the same usage is not decreasing; I have my called logged already with the 155 Data Contact center. *111#,1,4 also shows the same as v4me - which are both wrong.
My main query with them wasn't really that, it was only part of it, but was why my 25MB free data I should have got from the promotion last month never got reflected and I am being charged at R2/MB - even though the call center says the 25MB expires end Oct and I have 24.97 of it left.
 
Just reported my case to their data support dept, I guess if more of us log this problem the sooner it can be fix.

What happened previously ...

1) Took me about 10 min. and speaking to 2 different people @ the help-desk and "advance data services" to convince them that there was a problem. (They were adamant that if the system says that I have data available I could use it with no worries, only issue may be that the data usage could be delayed by a couple of hours)

2) After more than a week, I had no response back from VC (although they would have phoned me back in 2 days) I gave them a call to follow up. Was told that the problem was not resolved yet, and could not guarantee me that data used, would be deducted form my data bundle, so I used my 3G data with care.

3) Got an sms and voice message that told me the issue was resolved, more than 2 weeks after I initially logged the call.


Now the fun part, after receiving my bill ....

The data cap remaining, at the point of data usage locked up, were rolled over to the next month, but seemed that all data transfered after the lock-up till end of that month, were charged @ out of bundle rate.

I was "over"charged by about R 100, but that was not enough to motivate me to take it up with VC accounts department. (/me wonders how many times this kind of thing happens to VC clients)


If this happens again this month, I will need to reconsider my mobile data provider ...

Oh crap :/

If that's true, I could be 220MB+ 'out of bundle' :/ V4ME reported it as around 380/620 And I downloaded around 600MB + upload and transfer :/
 
OK...so the fix of the data counter was not done within a hour or so....but how longs has it been taking MTN to fix theirs now? :D

Yes its fixed O.C

Waiting on Billing department for cause.

When I connected to VMC Lite this morning it said data usage limit reached and 2040MB used! I couldn't have gone more than 100MB over my 1GB cap. Will try and log onto the vodacom website later to check usage. :(
