USB Wi-Fi adapter?

Hey guys

Is there any place I could buy a usb Wi-Fi adaptor, in order to connect to my phones hotspot? Are they cheap, or what prices am I looking at?

My pc was recently built, and I didn't need this built in cards. But now I would like to connect via my phones hotspot.

There's quite easy to find, any retailer will have. I recently got a few of the Netgear ones, wireless-N capable from one of the mom-and-pop stores nearby. Works like a bomb.

I picked up one of these at Martix for R80 or so.Quite compact and doesn't stick out as much as the other models.Works perfectly.

They are cheap and work like a dream. Only problem I know is that they need drivers for Windows 7. Not needed for Windows 8 or Linux.

Any idea what chipset is inside this adapter? Ralink, Realtek? You should be able to work it out from the software which was supplied with the device.
