User feedback: Karmic and HUAWEI E220 and Vodafone K3565

What have people found with Karmic (GNOME) so far and these modems? Do they work plug-n-play? Any fiddling needed?

How about the UNR and UMR? do they work on these flava's of Ubuntu?

Have tried the 3565 with UNR, and while it didn't work out of the box, there are instructions here

I have got it to work.

I have tested UMR briefly, and found it's 3G support lacking. Can't remember what card I used, but would assume things not to work until you have tested. Best thing to do, is fire up a live flash disk and test.
