This should not be allowed to happen. Taking weapons of security forces is a big no no for a supposedly student protest.

They can kill someone with that weapon, even it it is rubber, which I doubt.

Two sides to the story. Anyone can # their version nowadays into a stream. Do you know why the riot police are sweeping the residences? The protesters has resulted in public violence, even the medics was beaten by the protesters, burning down the buildings, looting the security and police, is this acceptable collateral when protesting?

No I dont know but two wrongs don't make a right. Just because innocents got caught in the cross fire with the students being the perpetrators, it doesn't mean the police should do the same. None of it is acceptable.
