UWC students disarm security guard

That is Diplopoint 12G rubber ammo. Loaded with 2 rubber balls iirc, and loaded quite light, as doing anything more than that to strikers nowdays is considered waaay to un-PC.
This must have been a security guard's gun..maybe Fidelity? SAPS have their own rubber ammo, Diplopoint supplies the security industry.
Since they have these guy's faces on camera, wonder if SAPS will have the balls to charge them with unlawful/illegal possession of a firearm?
Doubt it. Striking workers and students have immunity nowdays, short of cutting the heads off their victims, they can do what they like.
 
These are University students that should step aside and let those with brains and the will to study get a chance.
How fking stupid must you be to steal a weapon and the have your foto taken with the stolen weapon.
Throw the fkers in jail for being in possession of a stolen firearm and theft and being in possession of ammunition.
5yrs minimum. They can study for free in the choekie
 
I don't see them as students when they start doing this. They are violent and dangerous criminals that should be treated accordingly. They are also not kids being over the age of 18, so no holding back either.

CAPE TOWN – Protesting University of the Western Cape (UWC) students have given university management an ultimatum - address their demands or the violent unrest will continue.

Disgruntled students at the university torched a residence, administration building and disrupted examinations on Wednesday, claiming management had failed to adequately address their needs.

I heard that the one medic which was beaten yesterday was a lady being kicked on the ground. I don't know how anyone can support these actions and condemn the police...

Apparently the campus security was asking the police to stand down and asked that the security will take control, it was in this moment which the students stormed the security when they dropped their guard and all hell broke loose.
 
A cANCer creation and now they are in power they can't manage their own creation.
