I've been dating my gf for 7 months. I'm never any good when it comes to buying presents etc. What can i do that's not as clichè as the normal buying of flowers, chocolates etc. What can i get her, where can i take her for dinner etc?

P.S. She just found out on Monday that her parents are getting divorced so she's also a bit down, so i really want to take her mind away from the whole situation she is currently in.

buy her Audi A1 or mini cooper
 
Restaurants are too crowded and noisy on wellingtons day. Invite her round, cook a meal for her- decorate a table nicely outside in the garden, or a friends garden, Put candles in glasses- soft music.
 
Get her nothing, what you do now will set future expectations. Or atleast set the bar low. Maybe a Top Deck choclate, the small one or if you're feeling romatic a dish cloth.
 
Choccies. and make her dinner with little heart shaped food.
( not difficult make flapjacks and use a heart cookie cutter even meat and stuff can be stacked or cut into hearts)
Oh and buy pink bubbly.

If you want to buy something buy sexeh lingerie.

I've lost count of the number of A4s at my work parking lot. There are maybe 2 toyotas and a whole lot of 1 series.
