Valentines Gift Ideas

I jusat saw where you are...I'm envious...:(

very awesome venue. got engaged and married there :D. it's expensive yes, but if you been there you would know it's worth it.

Mich, point taken but I am not comparing feelings like love with a big house. We are comparing flowers or a love letter to a million bucks. Besides nothing stops one from providing both i.e. a love letter plus an expensive gift.

Sure you can do both - to each his own I guess. I'm just saying that to me it's the "showing of feelings part" and not any gift that counts more to me.

mmmkay I guess no one told him that 18 is way softer than 9... that is why 9 is cheaper than 18 and 24 cause it has more alloy in it to make it harder..

gold is so soft it wears away...

Trust a woman to know stuff like that.....my wife would be pleased then to know then that her next piece of jewelery will be made from CroMoly....it will NEVER wear away....she would be SO proud of me...

we all like a bit of a materialistic touch in our lives however you candy coat it. it goes with adding value to or what it represents. for example having something to look back upon and remember what it was for and so on.

Every girl I've ever been involved with (not many mind you but still) wants a love letter like every single day :wtf::D

I mean thats nice and all but what then do I do for valentines day say next year if I'm with someone.

In other words I am supposed to willingly show my appreciation every day if I truly love her. Valentines day then has to go beyond that where you spoil her a bit no? :o

Yes of course she wants to feel EXTRA special on Valentines day and if writing letters are your normal way of showing your love then you better find something else for Valentines day.

I'm just talking from a personal point of view, I guess it depends on how old your relationship is, I've been with my husband for a long time and that is what I would like from him. We've also done all the letter stuff when we were younger, I actually found all the love-letters I wrote him while he was in the army the other day when we moved!

Can't go wrong with some special me-time for her like a massage/reflexology.

Necuno, don't know if you're refering to jewellery? I have my wedding/engagement ring and my watch that my husband bought me, the only other jewellery I wear is earings that I buy for myself.

He knows I like the 12 Apostles, so he'll take me there - but not for Valentines day though, but would you call that materialistic?

:D:D

My wife says to buy 9k - which in my opinion is not worth it cos it does not last -
he said it did not last... so I was just saying 18 would not last longer:o the stones in 18 or 24 fall out easily too because its softer and it loosens easily..

Hey All,
