Thinking of having one, anyone got any doctor recommendations (or recommendations against) in Gauteng? What sort of cost is involved? will medical aid generally cover it?

Don't listen to razer we all know sex feels better without a condom so go get it done :D

A little bit of pain for good feeling sex is well worth it. As for recommendation phone the olivedale hospital.

EINA MY SNY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit:

My solution was to have the wife's gearbox removed......
Alot less painfull for me :D

Well even if I do get a snip I'd always wrap it before I tap it. With women sleeping around as much as they do these days (yes even the married ones or ones in "committed" relationships) I don't want to die for a few minutes of pleasure...

Generally acid men get this done when they are in a loving relationship. So i did not mean go get it done and go tap as much ass as you can with no protection :D.

Yes I know, but even in a loving relationship the woman can tap as much ass as she wants. Then leaves you with the bad penis nobody wants to ever touch

That's why guys kill themselves dude...

Condoms are cheaper and less painful

Crap it's not painful at all. 20min in the theater and you drive yourself home. I had mine done at Kingsbury in Claremont Cape Town a few years ago (Medical Aid is a must there very very pricey) State hospitals are offering this service free (my brother had his done some years ago)

Much better than condoms (if you have only ONE PARTNER) go for it. If your partner/Wife must have it done it's a painful and dangerous procedure so be the MAN and get the "snip" just make sure to go for the check up 6 weeks later before you have unprotected sex. It's done to make sure all the left over sperm cells has worked it's way out of your system.

It's not painful at all. There's a lot more discomfort in the 'thought' of what is going to happen, than in the actual procedure itself. Had mine done at Milnerton MediClinic. Looking at about R1500-R2000.

Not painful, got my "late" christmas present this morning at 10am. Slightly uncomfortable at the moment, but the beer is helping to "numb" that :) Got mine done on medical aid ;)

Got the chop at Mary Stopes Clinic 10 years or so back. Was free back then
Local anaesthetic - was a bit uncomfortable the first day, but I've never regretted having it done. It took about 15 minutes... place was like a sausage factory ... receptionist told me they were snipping 20 - 30 dudes a day per surgery

You have options:

The simplest and safest vasectomy method is the No-Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV), which, as the name suggests, requires no scalpel, no incisions (only two tiny punctures in the skin) and no sutures. It is performed with a local anesthetic to numb the area. The No-Scalpel Vasectomy is rapidly becoming the procedure of choice among patients and is also favored by many doctors.
