vBulletin passwords... help

Hi,

So I'm busy exporting vBulletin data into my own forum software. Now everything is obvsiouly encrypted to moer en gone so I want to avoid resetting everyone's password. The switchover has to be seamless.

Do any of you know if its possible replicating the algorythm vB uses in my own code to compare passwords and match them up?

Yes. You need the salt, the ciphertext and the algo used...different vb versions use different ones.

Should be possible to decrypt the pwds if you have all three.

Can't help you more than that though....I'm a bit thin on practical experience in that area. (Thankfully)
