I have forwarded ports on a clients Telkom Pace router, some of the forwarded ports work and some will not open, anyone else experienced this problem.

This may or may not help. But are you sure it's blocked on the router and not the destination device and depends of the device but what protocol UDP or TCP. Did you scan both sides with a port scanner?

I have other ports open on the same router and they are working perfectly.
