Simple question, will I be able to sync on VDSL with line attenuation of 27db? If not, around what is the maximum to sync at?:) I am upgrading but I am aware that I can use my current modem on ADSL2+ if I can't sync on VDSL.
Cheers

Your Attenuation looks good. But check the Telkom Coverage and see if its available in your area.

My experience between the two on 20meg

VDSL is a must if available. Less overhead.

So i borrowed my friends zyxel vdsl router and I did not get a sync. Do you have to use the VDSL filter? because I have not been using an ADSL filter. Also when they switched it to the ADSL2+ my speeds were 17mb-17.3mb download and 0.88mb upload

VDSL profile will need to be activated on your line. Call 10210 to do this. If you can get through... Else contact Telkom Via Facebook or Twitter.

I don't use the 10210 number anymore. It just a headache from the start. I'll share the Telkom chat link when I get to the office.

You won't synch on VDSL unless you are
a) connected to a MSAN or ISAM
b) your VDSL account has been converted and activated
