Compared to flying down and driving (petrol) back up. Also possibly accommodation along the way if you don't want to get tired and crash your new car - yeah I'd say it is reasonable.

Out of curiosity, It must have been a bargain to go all the way to Durbs to buy a car. What happens if it breaks down immediately after delivery? How will you deal with that?

Got them down to R3500 after i got my inspection report and pretended to be disgruntled by the stone chipping under the mirror. Could’ve bluffed for them to scrap it altogether but it’s a good deal
