My mom lives in the Centurion area and I'd like to take her out for lunch or dinner on Mother's Day.

Any suggestions re: good venues? On this occasion, money is not an issue, since she is my mom after all and she deserves it:)

Ga Rouge restaurant ... very nice setting, food quite good, a bit pricey
Barn 52 in Southdowns ... very nice atmosphere and excellent food, not too pricey
More next to Zwartkops country club ... nice venue, good food, bit pricey on some dishes
Cesco's on the Old Jhb road ... good atmosphere, very good food, nicely priced

The "Odd Plate" or Prue Leight college in hennopspark. Great/Amazing place but be sure too book. Excellent food as the chefs prepare the food as part of their training and they are marked/judged on it. Intimate atmosphere as it is not too big. My mother talked about it for a long time.

Blue Crane is quite nice, but it gets a bit hectic inside the restaurant during winter time
