Verbatim portable hard drive

I currently have a 80GB portable hard drive. I think it's Fujitsu-Siemens. It's way too small (I bought it many years ago). I see now that Makro has a Verbatim 320GB portable hard drive for R999. Are these drives okay?

I bought the 1TB version just before Christmas and so far no problems (touch wood). From what I could google, the 1TB has either a Western Digital or Samsumg drive inside. Both makers are OK so I don't mind. Don't know which drive the 320GB model has though.

They're good. Use either Seagate or Hitachi drives.
