Anyone know where to buy a VCR or VCR Combo in the Durban area?
I need a 2nd VHS player (for my work) and am struggling to find retailers who carry the "old" technology!

try the second hand shops - cahs converters / crusaders etc

I've been trawling bid or buy... nothing as yet. Tried a couple cash crusaders a little while ago - not that 2nd hand is my preference - but they didn't have any on their floors.

hahaha... ja ja I know... but people still have tapes and someone has to convert them to dvd before there are No VCR's left in the world to do it!

Your best bet might be getting one of those VHS DVD combo units. Makro, Game, Dion or one of the other electronic stores should carry them.

Yeah... Gumtree hasn't been good for me in the past. Especially trash posters from Chatsworth! But I'll check it out - thanks.

Went in to Makro, Game (various stores), Govan mani, HiFi corp... no joy as yet. Not even for combo's. Will keep trying I guess. - thanks.
