What would you recommend to edit a video I made , want to remove the music and put new music in

I recommend buying the latest Humble Bundle:

What OS are you using?
Final Cut is always a good option for MacOS, potentially even iMovie - it'll get the job done.

Either of these are fine. Lightworks not as resource heavy but the UI can be a bit finicky. Resolve for basic editing it's basically just drag and drop for the most part.

Btw, Sony sold Vegas some years ago to German company called Magix.
