Video game graphics that blew us away

NO DAMMIT DON"T SHOW ME HOMEWORLD!!!

Love that game , oh why why did it die.

The game which ultimately took near all gaming rewards in 1999:

Homeworld was given high marks by most of the gaming community, and earned numerous awards, including both PC Gamer's and IGN's game of the year award for 1999. The game was praised for its eye-catching, movie-like graphics engine, large battles, appropriate soundtrack, compelling storyline, and revolutionary 3D interface.

I re-installed and played it about a year ago for old times sake. Still an awesome game. I modded the game to remove the capital ship limits so that I could build an army of destroyers. Think I finished off with about 30 destroyers at the end.
