Hi

I am looking for a decent video player for my movies and series.
I have ditched the IOS version as it is screwed up after update 7.

I have recently moved over to PlayerXtreme as this creates folders that I need.

Is there any other apps for video that is decent?

Regards

AVPlayer/AVPlayer HD. I get the best performance with it and best subtitle rendering. Plays soft subbed MKV files nicely and will try to use H/W acceleration if possible.

Do you want to play media locally?

Then VLC is a good bet or if you want a means of easily getting stuff off a computer Airvideo works well as you can download and convert stuff from your server on the fly.

How are you playing AVI files? I use an older free version of AcePlayer (running on my JB ipad2) before they removed support for AC3 Audio.

Haven't found a free or paid app that supports AVI.

I've watched many AVI files - from wide ranging sources - with CineXPlayer.

I also use CineXPlayer. I think you can use some video converter to convert the ISO files to the formats that iPad supports. If you want to play DVD movies on iPad, you can use a DVD ripper. If you like, you can refer to the post How to Put DVD on iPad 4.

I use PlayerExtreme. Mainly because it is free. It plays anything however. With an HDMI adaptor, its not bad on a TV

okay so I got VLC and it seems to be a very cool app.
I can store my tv series I converted to M4v from handbrake.
It stores it in a tv series folder under its own folder(that is awesome)

Is there any way I can create a folder called movies where I can dump it in that folder.
As it is now there is only a All Files and Tv Series.
Now to go and find my one or two movies in a sea of tv series files is n bit time consuming.
Any advice?

Thanks for the suggestions
