Ja those are the best, no magnetic degradation.First copy - you are getting a bargain.![]()
Still looking for Windows Vista Ultimate. Would be awesome to get the disc with license.

oooh brings back memories.Decided to dig out my ancient gaming pc from the closet. Haven't been used in what... 13 years or so.
(Last played Skyrim and Alan Wake on it around 2013.)
Has since given up PC gaming for consoles. First it was the 360 followed by One S and then Series S. In between got the kids a Switch but never played it myself (until a week ago when I discovered Zelda Breath of the Wild on it... and fell in love...)
A the current price of consoles and PCs I guess it makes a lot of sense to play all the old titles you never got to play or would gladly replay.

i had a disk manager for all my anime's back then (200 DVD's about)And I still have an old Sony DVD-RW (black faceplate nogals) in a box somewhere.
Found a .txt list I did the last time around 2008 when I stopped writing "backup" CD's and DVD's going as high as DVD #106. Geez back then always had the urge to backup all of the internet..movies MP3s you name it...![]()

sounds like thoes IDE either not getting enough voltage or they dead especially the one ticking.Gosh, noticed something I've forgotten over the years last night - this motherboard has onboard graphics. The GeForce 6150 chip - considered to be one of the slowest Nvidia Geforce chips ever.
But i'm using a GeForce 8600GT on it and not the onboard one. Don't think I ever did use it - originally bought as a HT PC built (MicroATX box and all) but due to interest in games just got the 8600GT almost immediately afterwards.
Also tried out two old IDE drives I had in a storage box. Windows (XP) could eventually pick them up - but everything slowed down and the pc hung (not responding) a few times. They didn't sound too healthy either (one made click sounds from time to time and the other had a bit of a whine). Couldn't view them in Explorer so still none the wiser on what old goodies might be on them still if any. If I remember correctly I had to retire them due to exact same reasons back then 20 odd years ago.
Otherwise, Fresh Windows XP runs quite fast. Impressed.
Other than old games I don't think this machine will be capable of anything more. Apparently this old CPU is not even capable of running Youtube smoothly in HD. Also no internet connectivity. A USB wifi stick is an option but probably a waste of money as the websurfing speed using this machine might also suck... Amazing how our phones (even my 4 yr old Redmi Note) nowadays are much slower than huge chipset CPU's from 20 odd years ago.
Play with it a bit, and maybe it will get up straight...Don't laugh...
I always saw Joy sticks and they were always centered by default

Only got it this week, will clean it later. But should it not go back to the middle?
Windows 98 started, power plugged in. Port plugged in.
