So this is the story, I got jumped in Melville Spar by a Virgin Mobile saleswoman, who I asked me what network I was on, which is Virgin, she said great that they were running a promo where she could double my airtime and give me a new "black" sim-card which roams on both Vodacom and MTN to replace my old "red" simcard which only roams on Vodacom. I thought great let's do this and bought R50 airtime, confirmed with her that I would keep my old number and my previous airtime would transfer, she said no prob.

Gave me the new simcard and said once you get home phone 123 and they'll sort you out. Promptly did this only to find that none of what she said is true resulting in me now having two Virgin numbers and a wasted R100 airtime on the new one(which I now need to go in-store to RICA), got a bit irritated with the call centre because it sounded like they were in a KFC somewhere, demanded to speak to a manager and left details and I'm still waiting.

So as the old rule goes if it ain't broke don't fix it... Massive customer service fail on your part Virgin.
 
To be fair the airtime I did buy was doubled, just can't use it on my old sim/number... But gonna find some time and go in store and shyte on them from a dizzying height!!!!
