Virgin Mobile cuts its customer target

Virgin Mobail is a Epic Fail

I have been a customar with Virgin Mobile for about 5 months now and am regretting every moment of it.

They just randomly dropped my number from thier network about a month ago. You need your phone for work but instead sit with a unregistered sim while they try to sort the crap out. Customar support is pathetic, even when you get through to the manager that side (Patricia) it does not help. They promise to call you back, nothing. They tell you its a Cell C problem and not thiers, thats truly pathetic as it does not help you in any way to solve the root problem. I don't care whose fault it is, I just want the service to work. I have picked up they dont know what is going on. I hope they go bankrupt soon so that I can move back to Vodacom.

For all new potential subscribers, STAY AWAY. Don't get attracted by free SMS's, when you really need to call and not SMS's the dropped calls (in a moving car mostly) are unbearable and really hampers your efforts to do your job.

I've been a customer with Virgin Mobile since their launch (actually I was one of the first guys to buy a starter pack when it became available).

I am happy to report, since last week I am a MTN Contract holder and I will let my Virgin Simcard die a slow and painful death.

If I never see another Virgin Mobile advertisement I will die a happy man.

Their network is beyond pathetic. SMS's and delivery reports take as much as 2 days to be delivered at times and their internet services are completely non existant.

I connect to Vodacom 3G at home at times, those times I've tried connecting on Virgin at the same place, I've had about 10 disconnects in less than an hour.

They have no value for money, but they love taking your money.

Cheers VM, Adios Amigos...:erm:

A few months ago I went to the Virgin store in Canal Walk.
They had no prices on display for accessories, so I had to queue. (mistake 1)
The guy was arguing with a customer. She had brought her phone back for a warranty repair, but had lost the receipt. The shop made her sign all sorts of ODD paperwork making her responsible for all and every eventuallity of loss or damage and other nonsense.

The shop admitted that they had lost their entire list of sales and didn't know which phones were on warranty or not.

It was a pathetic failure!

This is the worst network in SA. I have tried on so many times to get good services out of them but they always let you down.

The only thing they are good at is OOB and EDGE speeds (beats the rest).
