WIMAX can bring GREATER SPEEDS (no doubt about that)
Well if VM or CellC want to offer their customers higher net speeds to at least come close or maybe surpass 3G then i suggest they look at uising WIMAX.
Firstly, they wud not need VM or MTN or use their networks.
Secondly, WIMAX can cover up to 50 - 80 km radius distances meaning than broadband can be expaned to more areas.
Thirdly, there are free frequecies which ICASA does not charge for which they can use in the begining...then later upgrade to higher freqeucies which offer high network speeds and stability.
Fourth, and not most concerning is that the cost of these towers could be worth spending as apposed to making VC more rich by using VC's network infractructure.
Do the logic...are they not considering all the options or are they just stupid
