Hi Everyone,
Please could you give me your feedback on your current GPRS experience, some work was carried out on the system last night and through to this morning.
My connection seems to fine now, but was wondering what it is like in different parts?
Regards,
Gerald.
Switch manually to the Vodacom gprs network, then switch to 3G only mode once you are locked on to the network. If need be switch back to gprs and then again to 3G until you get a permanent 3G connection. My connection was also *** last night and I usually have an ok connection when other people can't even connect. Since last week I've been on an EDGE connection via an E220 but have only got EDGE speeds on one occasion.

You'll find you're still on the Cell C network and only using the Vodacom tower. The maximum speed you'll probably get is 512k/s like me.Thanks for the tipAccording to the Huawei software I'm on HSDPA but speed tests show me in GPRS to EDGE region but overall much better performance than Virgin's network
