Just curious to find out if any of you were virgins when you got married? and what were your reasonings if applicable?

I think it will be hard to find male virgins before marriage but I think this is more likely to be found in women.

is that a fair statement?

just thought about this and I am curious to see fellow forumnites viewpoint.

Was not virginal upon marriage.
Neither was my wife.

/we lived together for almost 3 years prior to marriage!!

Also, What constitutes virgins? is someone who "fools around" without having sex still considered a virgin?

Living with your GF for 3 years and not having sex would be difficult..

i would love to know the motivation for the question concerning the zenith thread on : sex before marriage.

just curiosity. I was having a debate with a mate and we couldn't reach consensus over "what defines a virgin" and we were also wandering if it's still common practice to wait.

well imho:
a virgin is someone without sexual experience.

sex before:
better to have some interaction instead of 'biblically forcing' yourself onto your wife on the wedding night.

did sex before:
make me divorce ?
no

make it less special/loving ?
no

make sex less after ?
no

Frankly, I actually suspect the exact opposite is likely to be true.

But to be honest, I think an adult virgin of either sex would be a sad, deluded, rarity these days.

Do people still value virginity these days? It's a sadly misogynistic, bronze aged concept.

Virgins!? KK, I'm here guys :).

Wait... ahhh, eff this, I thought it was going to be some kind of virgin union forming! I've been cheated

hilarious!

back on topic. what if, as a male, another male PIITB, am I still a virgin? ok, nevermind.
