Well you do get DX11 for Vista... So you can keep Vista for the time being I guess.

I think what was meaning is once you have the DX11 for Vista you pretty much have Win7. I might be wrong tho. It does happen.

Kind of but honestly if you have the cash then buy Windows 7. Windows 7 is my preference anyway, it's my daily bread and butter.

Go for windows 7 purely because it is far faster than vista and it's so pretty and awesome.
Mad vista and windows 7 are very similar but windows 7 is far superior. Speed compared to vista is awesome. I moved from vista and will never go back to vista. Dx11 is not the only thing windows 7 has going for it.
Sticky notes is awesome, putting 2 pages next to each other is awesome, the speed is great.
