Ah yes, SSD is a requirement. Tried putting my dev work on a regular drive to save ssd space but it was too painful.
My laptop has m.2 SATA's everything else is blitz fast.Valid point... I have SSD so that likely makes the diff, but I cant say that I have perf issues with R#
Seriously? I cant live without it...
Like i said it only offers me test runner help, everything else just gets in my way.
So you use vanilla VS code completion etc? I think VS intellisense has come a long way but R# code completion and intellisense is still better. The Code inspection has also found a few bugs in the past. Only that makes it worth it for me
A real man completes his own code
But I'm really hoping they fixed the VS2015 bug where if you step too fast while debugging that you can hang the editor.
A real man watches his step...![]()
Started, but it was really boring, so switched off.SO who watched the launch?
I just watched a little part... But the Azure Application Insights info live right there in your source code on the correct source line is pretty amazing..
Still no iso, only the web download BS.
I'll wait.
Wow you're lazy.
vs_Professional.exe --layout c:\vs2017
Downloading ISO works at work, webInstaller is blocked at work and internet less for a bit at home.
Will try this on a VPS box I have though. Thanks.
does someone have a link to the iso?
Be careful.. they might call you lazy.
No ISO at the moment sadly.

Where can I find ISO Images?
We don't have ISO files for Visual Studio 2017 because you have the ability to create your own offline layout installer. For more information, see How to create an offline installation of Visual Studio 2017.
