Vodacare phone fix...

Why is it that vodacom dont fix your phone if there is water damage?

cause if the phone is waterdamaged the warranty is void you must take it to the "shop" like nokia or something,

The reason is that corrosion builds up on the circuit board. A repair might fix the problem but it could conk out again after a few weeks and with the Vodacare warrenty they are not prepared to cover a phone that will be coming in for repairs every 3 weeks or so.
The best solution would be to replace the circuit board but this will be too expensive and its better to just replace the phone.

They will, if you insist that they do, and are prepared to carry the cost yourself.
