You'll get between 30 and 60 days to use it.

Buy today and it will expire on January 31, buy on January 1 and it will expire on February 29.

yikes no...i want something that i can use over a longer period.

i still want to know which model 3G stick i must buy please? any advise?

thanks

I think the Vodafone K4605 is the best modem available at the moment.
The best modems are Huawei. Is this one of those? Vodafone has a confusing model number system that assigns similar codes to different manufacturers.

Yes K4605 debranded = Hauwei E372 = R1400(vodashop)

Also worth considering for half the cost would be the E367 = R700 (8ta)
Atm the networks are behind what the E372 is capable of.

Is it possible to get a data sim on a prepaid 20GB bundle? Alternatively, is it possible to load the prepaid bundle on my existing TopUp 400 package, and then to get a data sim for that package?

I called Vodacom 082111 today and the 20gig bundle is no longer being sold. Apparently there is a glitch in the system and they charged customers the data used instead of deducting it from the bundle.

I called them again about getting another bundle but they just informed me that it's only for TopUp and Prepaid that there was a glitch on the 20gig bundle. Since I am on contract I was able to get it :)

20 GB at R2/MB = R40,960

Not sure how they could overcharge on prepaid...

Does not make sense. I'll check where this story originated. For sure nothing from our side. It's available to all customers till the 9th.

Just buy it via USSD or SMS.

There was a communication sent out on the 8th January saying " Due the technical issues, the Mofaya Summer MyGig 20 Broadband Standard offer for Prepaid & Top Up has been placed on hold"

This could be what is being referred to.
