Vodacom 3G/HSDPA Coverage

What Vodacom's 3G/HSDPA coverage situation in Somerset West?
I went to visit my father today with Vodacom prepaid SIM in hand, wanting to ease his pain from being screwed by MTN. Popped in my Vodacom SIM and got a strong EDGE signal, but when I put his card in 3G Only mode it found nothing.
The coverage map I found here seems to indicate he should have 3G/HSDPA coverage.

AFAIK, its pretty scattered. I have alot of complaints of customers about not getting 3G signal.

I cant complain though. I work in Somerset Mall, and quite frankly, i'm not dissapointed! Full coverage... strong signal... HSDPA(Heavenly Speed Data Packet Access )

Just today i had customer who Vodacom Customer Care sent to me for a Software Upgrade, as she was complaining about only picking up GPRS. Funny thing is, she works in Woerman Brock(The building right outside - I could swing a frisby that way).

What i also love about my situation is, when furious people come and complain about how crappy the product is, and how its not as fast as its advertised, and then they leave speechless after they paid me a visit

and then when they get back home and it doesn't work again they lock their families up in the house and hold them at gun point for 9 hours... real nice what you are doing, need more service providers like you.

Ha ha ha i did my job I tested their product, and it works like a charm! The mercy of their Families are left in the hands of Vodacom(and which ever department deals with Signal and Coverage related issues)
