Just did a Speedtest.net tests - not certain if the tower in our region is 43Mbps enabled, but the results are not bad :)

RPM that is all good and well, but if we are paying R249p/m for 500meg's (Contract) the speed is worth nothing! you are very lucky i get about 800kbps on a bad day, and 2mbps on a good day plus a ping of 111ms all the time.

price > high speed + small cap. imho

Today I used 200Mb only by browsing. If I was still on VC, i'd be cringing.

True about pricing, but rather than paying R249 for 500MB I would go for the 2GB + 2GB offer for R149 per month :)

I also think we can expect price cuts from Vodacom across the board - CEO Pieter Uys today hinted that it will happen within the next few weeks.

Watching VC like a hawk. :)

Will be good if they up the ante and lower their prices as well for all to benefit from.

I'm sure some of you have read the "reviewed" T&C's for the contract...

Seems the same to me, on my end. I would think my area would receive an upgrade since the tower supports WiMAX, iBurst and even one of the few edge enabled towers in my side of Durban

VC's new 42+1 Mbps network

Any one seen/experience it yet? - Except RPM, he has special unicorn/flying pig 3D glasses

Seen any prices on the new modems?

Is it actually live?

Do unicorns exist?

Do pigs fly?

:D

Surprised at this reaction.

Looked liked the bet deal going, what's wrong with it?

That's what was wrong with it. But the promotion's been removed from the VC website all of a sudden.

Some Speedtest Perfromed Yesterday in Nelpsruit
