[Vodacom] Airtime/Bundle I just don't know

I have a family top up contract for R200pm. I recently bought a 3G card. Went onto the internet to browse and poof my airtime was gone.

I queried this and vodacom told me that the following:

I was billed by your company for services performed but I have not registered with you or at least without my knowledge. I have contacted Vodacom and they said that I registered with your company but I have not.

Please refer to the e-mail received from Vodacom below:

Dear Kurt

Thank you for your email communication to Vodacom.

Please be advised that as per our records your airtime was used to make calls and also you have registered with different Wireless Application Service Providers. You will need to contact them then on the following numbers in order to cancel the subscriptions:

- ViaMedia (Pty) Ltd - 072108 7917 (charged call)
- AfriGIS (Pty) Ltd - 0860 99 98 97 (charged call)
- Mira Networks (Pty) Ltd - 011 447 0541 / 447 0467 (charged call)

I have not registered with any of these companies and my airtime disappeared. Can any on help me with situation?

Kurt, is it possible that someone else used your phone to register with these companies?

We've seen if quite a few times where the children in the house do things with mom or dads phone, like registering for services or even transfer air-time!

Basically what Customercare says is that your number was used to register.
 
In order to register, doesn't the company send a confirmation SMS or 2. In order to spend R200 in a short time, I would presume the owner of the phone
1. Received such a message,
2. Actually received a service (ringtone/starsign reading/poem/ etc.

If not, I suspect something is amiss.
 
Shouldn't there be a way to unsubscribe to these from the network side seeing as the network is in effect acting as a billing agent?
