Hi,
I've been trying to transfer airtime for the last 3 days now but keep getting the following error: "You do not have enough credit." even though I have more than enough credit to transfer.
Does anyone know whether there's a problem?
Thanx,
These are the general rules surrounding airtime transfer:
Customers will not be allowed to transfer cents.
The minimum transfer value remains R5 and the maximum R2000.
Transfer of airtime is not SP bound – i.e. the transferring and receiving customer does not have to belong to the same SP.
The transferring customer will not be charged a VAS fee; the transfer transaction will be free of charge.
Calls to the IVR system will be free of charge.
Confirmation of a successful transaction will be heard at the end of the IVR call.
Requests via USSD will be free of charge.
The receiving customer will receive an SMS stating the amount of airtime that has been transferred, the transferring customer’s MSISDN and the customer’s new account balance.
Customers may confirm their transfer balance by dialling *111#. A Prepaid airtime transfer balance option has been created.
Customers will not be able to check their transfer balance via the IVR.
If a customer attempts a transfer via USSD when they do not have sufficient funds in their IN account (also referred to as “the wallet”) they will receive a message: “You do not have sufficient funds to allow the transfer. Your transfer limit is RXXXXX.” The limit they are given is the actual transfer limit, i.e. 80% of recharged value.
If a customer attempts a transfer via IVR when they do not have sufficient funds they will receive a message: “Please note you do not have sufficient funds to allow the transfer. To query your allowable transfer amount please dial *111# and select the airtime transfer option. Please contact customer care on 111 for any queries.
