Vodacom APN settings etc

We live in the UK but spend some time in SA. Hitherto we have rented a 206 Mifi from Rentafone.
I have bought a Huawei E5220 which is evidently the same as the 206 to use here and in SA.
What are the APN settings for Vodacom ZA?
I also notice that Vodacom ZA have a dial up number *99#
But the Huawei software does not seem to have any option for a dial up number.
The Huawei software says it is up to date and there does not seem to be any other download
I would appreciate some guidance

Is there not a username that we can use. MTN uses "guest". Windows 8.1 does not accept an empty username for Broadband connection. Since I have upgraded from Windows 7 I cannot use my built-in modem in the notebook unless I get an MTN sim card?

If you use non-blank user name, it doesn't matter, it will be ignored. Network do not send request for username/password, as you are authenticated by SIM card. If your dial-up doesn't work it is probably Windows 8 not supporting your modem.
