1gb. Are they even serious?
It appears that someone overlooked the proofreading process.1gb. Are they even serious?
I've just had a look, we use 2500GB at home. I have no idea what the purpose of 1GB per month round even be.Could work for some, I use about 300G a month.
It is actually 1TB and not 1GB.I've just had a look, we use 2500GB at home. I have no idea what the purpose of 1GB per month round even be.
Having said that, 2500GB seems high. My feeling is it should closer to 250GB. I wonder what the big data hog on my network is.
At 5G speed, that should take how many seconds... However, what's the point of having 5G but being limited to 50mbps? You may as well use 4G on a high-end phone, the network may even allocate more to it. I've seen 80mbps+ on 4G and it wasn't just 1GB. I'll pass.
Perhaps it includes 220GB of impossible-time-of-the-night data. They have this one also, except it is 220G and not 440G

Yes it doesPerhaps it includes 220GB of impossible-time-of-the-night data.
The lower latency of 5G makes it beneficial for gamers. At 5G speed, that should take how many seconds... However, what's the point of having 5G but being limited to 50mbps? It's not a bad deal, but waiting a bit is not a bad idea.Hello all,
Is this a good deal?
I'm looking for fast, affordable LTE WiFi (no fibre at current place)

I will still wait for the 29th if new deals come up etc...
I wonder if I will be able to transfer some of the data. Works out way cheaper to just transfer 10gb data every week for each family member. They have this one also, except it is 220G and not 440G

Nope. The only reason, I'm still with MTN is because of Data Share. Vodacom only offers that on Red Plans. Vodacom may allow you to manually transfer 5 Gigs per day (as is the case with Prepaid LTE), that will only last 7 days.I wonder if I will be able to transfer some of the data. I can transfer data from the current 400gb home Internet plan I'm on. But only to contract and top up numbers. However my sister who is on another home Internet plan can't transfer dataNope. Transfer to Contract & Hybrids only, does not help much. MTN's far ahead in terms of data sharing, but unfortunately their plans are usually expensive. BTW, How much you are able to transfer per day, and what's the expiry date of transferred data?I can transfer data from the current 400gb home Internet plan I'm on. Most I've transferred in a day was around 40gb. It takes time though because you can only do 1gb per transfer. You can "extend" the data for another 7 days by transferring it the day before it expires. That's what I usually do with leftover data on month end.Transfer to Contract & Hybrids only, does not help much.
