Vodacom black friday 2024

Any decent vodacom voice/minutes contract. I'm spending a lot of money on airtime since their allnet minutes are only for 24hrs meaning I have to buy daily.
What are you looking to spend? The Powerflex package is unlimited voice, R 449

Screw VC's LTE.
I'm paying my school fees R299 for "Business Internet LTE 30Mbps" and it's so **** I cannot use it.
Tried 3 different locations.
Calls ad nauseam.
They came and installed an omnidirectional antennae.
I keep on showing them it's constantly(as in every few minutes) switching between LTE/3G and every time it does you loose connectivity, which makes teams meetings impossible.

Can the modem force 4G only?

I just "upgraded" my package that gave me 100 minutes and 1.3GB of data for R447 per month (damn expensive, nobody can tell me why) to a package that gives R150 airtime and 1GB of data for R120 per month. Via the call centre.

I have a question as well - on Vodacom 5G. The area I'm moving to doesn't have 5G coverage yet. There's proper and fast LTE coverage though. If I buy a 5G package, will it work in the LTE area at LTE speeds, or will it not work at all?

TP Link MR600 according to my bill.
I'm not close to the unit, I eventually installed it somewhere for people to use
It has the option, just need to dig. I have used one before and the option

wish there was a deal at least with a multi sim option so i could move from telkom and get larger data damn but vodacom red vip is just too expensive

i think some Business plans have this multi sim option.
Can @Ockie perhaps advise which of the Vodacom packages allow multi sim ?

This should work just fine on 4G.

I can transfer data from the current 400gb home Internet plan I'm on. But only to contract and top up numbers. However my sister who is on another home Internet plan can't transfer data

How exactly do you do this?
Via the app or ussd?
If ussd, then you have to remove sim card from router and insert into a handset to get access to a dial pad.

I use USSD on my router. I am using a huawei B618 because that alacatel thing that came with the deal is rubbish. the app and tobi doesnt work. it used to but stopped a few months ago. in fact, i cant even receive smses anymore. So I log in using the Huawei AI life app and do it that way.

Kindly share the USSD codes to get this done.
Much appreciated.

*135# them for me it's option 9 then 2 then 8 then 5 for data transfer.

Can only transfer data leftover from last months allocation. It has to be within 25 days of expiry. The data they give you rolls over one month so it's valid for 60 days.

Did anyone go for this deal?
Would like to see if it is really a Huawei router they give you.
