Hi

I am hoping that i am posting this in the correct place.
I have a vodacom data contract that i got with a laptop, the deal was structured so that i would only have 1Gig and no longer the 5Gig i had previously before upgrading.
this went well for a month or so and in August i needed a bit more data so i went online to my account where it showed that my data was depleted and gave me the option to buy more and add it to my next bill, This was done and i bought a R249 bundle.
I was debited for R9280 this month for R7500 woth of data supposedly used in August.
getting answers from Vodacom is proving impossible as all the basically say is that call limits are not guaranteed.

can anyone advise

"in August i needed a bit more data" - does it mean that your connection stopped working, so you logged on to the WEB site? Vodacom don't do it, so you were probably already in OOB area in that moment, I am afraid.
You can set billing limit (R100 or even less if they allow it), or leave Vodacom, you won't regret it.

Welcome to the "We don't care about your problems" company. They love it when you go OOB, and don't warn you when it happens, just so they can properly milk you.
