Now correct me if I am wrong... is vodacrap not steering towards a monopoly here? Don't we all just love telkom for their monopoly? Oh but wait... telkom owns some of vodacrap... and also iBurst? and now they own more?

this is highly disturbing, how many more people will be mislead, misdirected and misinformed about their internet service by this comglomorate (is that a word?)

I see similarities in their approach to customers as well.

TELKOM's strategy is to migrate people to wireless / mobile access and they are doing it rather well.
Even their latest TV ad (Vodacom) takes a position of 'why wait for adsl installation, call Vodacom and get it now.

This fits in with all that I think considering who owns what at the end of the day.
