Vodacom cuts data, tablet prices

I wish they'd add that onto phones though

No thanks Vodacom I've just last month kicked your 2Gb data into touch - 3Gb one goes next month.

Never again

Vodacom deals and promotions all have this 24 month contract in common and every time the evil genius in charge just don't want to offer prepaid customers anything close to a good deal.

Vodacom, what a gluttonous pig of a company. Greed in business is one thing, but Vodacom is taking it further and worst of all, just like the ANC, they also have a lot of support. WTF? Some guy is roaming (trolling) MyBB forums, ready to defend Vodacom's latest mess with some very good supporting commentary, but surely even he must feel upset with the state of affairs at Vodacom!

All I say is... OOB in prepaid... Fail.

Great! Now you just have to reduce it a further 68.1% to match 8ta's R14.99/GB and on PREPAID.

Not too long ago they only cut prepaid rates and us contract guys moaned

1. They want Neotel with spectrum, promising price drop.
2. They've got spectrum for LTE, no price drop - the same as 2 years ago.

Thank you Vodacom for your so-called "promotion" but I am more than happy with my 3Gig + 3Gig LTE package from TM for R99. And that's not even a promotional package. And if I run out of data before the end of the month, there's no nasty OOB shark that'll bite me in the @ss.

I went and took another look:

Telkom Mobile offers 1GB of data with that tablet at R30 less and for R20 more than Vodacom you'll get 2.5GB of data (5x more). So if my sums are right, Vodacom is 4x more expensive than Telkom Mobile (when it comes to data) even when running 20th anniversary prices at '94 special. Epic Fail.

Maybe because there was fukkall data in 94 perhaps?
