Vodacom data down nationwide

There seems to be an issue with the datacentre connectivity. My server is down since 05h00 this morning. Still no idea when it will be back.
 
Yep my last mail was at 05h08 this morning, looks like anything data - 3g, business, hosting
 
Vodacom BIS and data is always down or seriously erratic.
 
You can say that again! Makes the wonder of BB begin to pale!
 
Man withall the downtime we have had recently it feels like i'm on CellC

I think the network will come right with all the people jumping ship over the next few months ;)

You'd think the RIM have standards to be met and adered toin order for a network to offer BIS. The first thing that comes to mind when it doesn't work is 'stupid Blackberry!' and it really makes RIM seem the bad one :/

Vodacom Internet down

Hi there

Who all is haivng issues with 3g and or ADSL connecting through the vodacom backbone. got 11 branches that are all down at the moment through them

Services impacted Connectivity issues on wimax, fibre, microwave, VSAT, Diginet access services and hosting and VoIP services. Clients may experience connectivity issues including latency, loss of connectivity on internet services, packet loss. Some client services have been restored.
Cause of incident Not known at the current time
Geographic area impacted Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal
Agent action Engineers are currently attending, some services have been restored

Thanks for the update. Not working in Cape Town either. BIS is showing again, but no throughput received.
