Thanks for the update. Not working in Cape Town either. BIS is showing again, but no throughput received.

Blackberry is still a problem.

I'm in Sedgefield, Western Cape and no BB data at all (edge signal but all lower case letters). Call centre is clueless, as usual

My Blackberry is back up. Switch radio off and back on and let phone register on network again.

BIS is still down on my side (south of Joburg).
Also getting errors when making calls but not sure if its related, the error says something about no circuits or ports available.

I receive mails intermittently, but weather up can't update and browser not working.

Might be the rush off bb's accessing the internet now.

Mobile operator Vodacom was plagued by technical network issues this morning, which resulted in 2G and 3G outages in Sandton, Rosebank and Midrand, as well disruptions in BlackBerry services in SA, Egypt, Malta and Kenya.
