Hi Vodacom has not implemented the ICASA ruling on data rollover. Still 30 days expiry. Has ICASA once again backed down to service provider demands? Toothless watchdog!!

I was wondering the same thing. I thought the deadline was supposed to be the 8th of July?

So most other ISP's are doing their thing? but Vodacom not?.

So is data suppose to rollover forever ?

Have you guys noticed that data prices has increased back to what it was about 2 years ago.

For instance 10gb day and 10gb night owl was R299 two years ago.. and since then it has dropped slowly to R199 up to last month. And now its back to R299. Both mtn and vodacom.

omw. those courts can be in and out for months or years.

SA be prepared to be milked dry for next few years people

I was overseas for a month had 600 plus mb on my phone, didnt use it, but on the plane back at CT airport
i noticed 300 mb just disappeared.
I say if you paid for something its yours to do what you like with it, if the provider wants to take it back, then they should refund you. Data theft has to be stopped.

Can't agree more, it is like buying croceries and what has not been used is taken back!!!!!

You don't seem to understand how it works. And you didn't pay for all of it. If you did, you would have paid double what you paid for it now. It is the same with insurance and medical aid. You help pay for those around you otherwise it will be unaffordable.

Groceries have an expiry date. If you don't use it before the expiry date do you go and complain at the store?

Setting up a court case is not a relief for network operators. They must comply with new regulations. If they don't, they can be heavily fined by ICASA.

Problem is that ICASA doesn't seem to act in order to enforce new regulation.

Consumer always on the short end of the stick.... why can't we just get what we pay for.

I mean. if I pay for 2gig of data.. why rob me of my data.
